On the Road, South Beach, Oregon - 8/1/2016

We had a relatively short ride today, only about 190 miles and a good thing it was short as we had to cross the Cascade Mountain Range and the Coastal Range.  Talk about twisted narrow roads going over multiple passes.  The elevation wasn't that high but the twists and turns sure made up for it.

However, we arrived safe and sound and will be staying at the Whaler's Rest Campground in South Beach about six miles south of Newport, OR, and right on the coast.  Very nice campground.  Here is a photo of us set up at our site.

This will be a relaxing stay with no plans other then to get some laundry done and to walk the beach.
