On the Road, Redding, CA - 8/4/2016

Today was a long drive from South Beach, OR, to Redding, CA, almost 400 miles.  We started down the Oregon coast as far as Florence, about 50 miles.  Then headed east to Eugene, OR, where we picked up I-5 headed south.

Stopped for lunch as a rest area on I-5 and arrived at our campground about 6:45 PM.  Had a little trouble finding it as our GPS had it on the west side of I-5 but it was actually on the east side but Google maps to the rescue and we got there.

This was another thermal shock test as we went from the low 60s in South Beach to 97 in Redding.  Tomorrow we will arrive in Redwood City, right next to Menlo Park, where we will be camping for the next week.
