Off We Go - 6/22/16

I don't know how many of you have heard but Pat and I bought our first motor home this spring.  It is a Winnebago Vista LX 27N (http://winnebagoind.com/products/class-a-gas/2016/vista-lx/overview).  It's a class A motor home that is 28 feet long, has a queen size bed, dinette that converts to a bed, a bunk over the driver's seat, kitchen with frig, freezer, 3 burner range, oven, microwave/convection oven, 2 basin sink and bath with shower.  Has air conditioning and a generator.  Last month we had it out for a trial run at a campground near Disney World.  Spent 6 days/5 nights and had a great time.

Today we are off on a long summer vacation.  This morning we left Weeki Wachee and drove our RV to a small campground just outside of Savannah, GA.  We are going to spend two days here and then head up the east coast with stops in Williamsburg, VA and Vienna, VA.  From there we will head west stopping at various sites and relatives until we get to Montana to visit Greg.  Then on to the west coast to visit David in Menlo Park, CA, and Chris, Neal and my Mom in La Jolla, CA.  Finally we will wend our way home.  We expect to be on the road for about 2 months.
